About

My name is Eugene Teplitsky and ever since I was just 8 years old, my life when I discovered that my future will be tied ever so closely with computers. Yes, there’s a story there – I’ll save it for the blog. And yes, I was quite right to believe it then.
I decided to start this blog partly because I sometimes feel like my head will split open like a ripe melon if I don’t put my thoughts down on paper – or worse, I will forget whatever idea I was thinking about, and will only be able to mourn its passing. That is, until I forget that tool. Yea, being a little scatterbrained does have its perks.
The other reason – and a much more important one, as far as I’m concerned – is my son. The little guy is just turning 15 months old – and when he too discovers his passion for something, be it computers, or music, or animals, or motorcycles (ok, mommy may not approve of that one
), he will be able to look back and see what his daddy was up to when he was his age. Learning from another’s mistakes is always the best sort of learning.
I want this blog to be a place for my ideas, observations, and recollections of things I’ve done and witnessed. And I also want it to be a place where people can learn things – so if you find something I wrote helpful, please leave a message! I’d love to hear what you think.
